Just a recap... I opened the box and was smacked in the face by intense fragrance that was waaaay to overwhelming for me. I don't know how i feel about putting all that perfume in my lady bits. Giving Playtex the benefit of the dought I figured I'd open up one and take a sniff (man that's weird sounding, I know but I want to be thorough!). I was pleasantly surprised that the smell is considerably less on the tampon itself (phew!), not sure I needed my lady bits emitting THAT much fragrance... As far as "performance" goes I usually stick with my preferred brand, but these worked just as well the ones I normally use.
