My first impression was i liked it. It's aesthetically appealing (love the color!). I'm thrilled it has 5 blades like my regular razor has.
Confession time: i use a mens razor since it seems to work better than any womans razor I've tried (though the VES is one that i haven't tried until today!).
So far it worked just as well as my normal brand. Close shave, no tenderness, no bumps or ingrown hairs yet (which i seem to be prone to). So far so good! On the plus side, that little bit if moisturizing strip was nice, my current razor doesn't have that so thats a plus for the VES. One downfall is the size of the head. I like the small no nonsence head of my regular razor, though the VES isn't too much larger so i think i coukd get used to it. I also like that it came with a shower holder so it doesn't just sit on the shelf sitting in it's own puddle potentially causing rust.
So far the count is favoring VES
VES: 2 to my razor: 1
As long as the blades last as long i think i would actually be willing to switch
